I provide varying levels of services, depending on your
needs.

Structural editing – reorganizing a manuscript or
clarifying; involves working with the author to develop
a stronger piece of writing

Stylistic editing – working with meaning, diction,
reading level

Copy editing – checking and correcting grammar,
spelling, punctuation, paragraph consistency,
sentence structure

Fact checking/Reference checking – monitoring
accuracy of facts and/or quotes

Proofreading – checking galley proofs after author’s
alterations; polishing appearance of manuscript layout,
pagination, placement of illustrations

Rates:

My hourly rate is $30.

Each project is treated individually, so rates may vary
depending on the amount of revision necessary, the
editing service provided, length of the manuscript,
and deadlines.
